Supervision & support
- Identify prospective shipyard and invite for quotations
- Assess the technical quality, capacity, and solvency of the shipyard vis-a-vis owner demands, ship's design, project costs and specifications
- Provide assistance during contract negotiations and in the preparation of contract documents
- Review of shipyard's engineering documents, machinery and equipment specifications
- Approval of suppliers and subcontractors
- Supervision of all shipyard construction activities up to delivery
- Interior supervision & liaison with shipyards
- Ensure adherence to contract documents and latest standards, authorities rules and regulations
